The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a 17-jewel grade 887 hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 29593684 which dates it back to 1937.
The watch measures 22mm wide excluding the winding crown and 33mm high excluding the lugs. Although originally designed as a man’s watch, it would suit a man with a slimmer wrist.
The inside of the case back has the iconoic Roy make of a hand which was introduced in 1890 to indicate that the case was engraved entirely by hand.

The case is in lovely condition with just the odd minor mark, nothing serious at all. The back of the watch has a lovely inscription, ‘Stanley J Mrizek, Salesman May 28-38, Donated by R J Mrizek Co’. R J Mrizek Baking Company was based in Illinois, USA.

The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands. Some darkening to the finish.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
