The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and it has engine turned detail to both the front and back. There is a little patch of slight unevenness but not too detrimental at all.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in lovely condition.
The dial is in good condition, just a small patch of short hairlines underneath the subsidiary seconds dial. One of the hands is a period replacement. Half hunter hour hand so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
