Description

Very decorative early 19th century Italian marble top commode in black walnut with inlays and chevron inlaid banding, chamfered front corners with further inlays and stands on tapered legs with brass caps.

Really is a wonderful colour and so striking with the chevron bandings, complimenting the warm tones and finished with brass handles and caps to the feet.

The commode ( or chest of drawers ) has three full width drawers, so offers good storage but without compromising on style! Being on the raised tapered legs gives an elegance to a really good size piece of furniture, also with the chamfered front corners and that of the original marble top too.

Good condition and a super decorative piece.
