The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 10,016,187 which is working nicely.
The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
The back of the watch has the military arrow, or pheon, together with the GSTP General Service Time Piece mark and store code. The back of the watch has light surface marking but all very acceptable for a WW2 piece.
The acrylic lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in lovely condition. The radium paint detailing has been removed over the years.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
