Description

Gents 1950s Franklands Vital Pulse Reg’d wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss 17-jewels hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 29mm wide excluding the winding crown and 29mm high excluding the lugs. The case is gold plated and it is in lovely condition. The case back is stainless steel.

The convex lens is in good condition (some reflection showing in the photos).

The dial is signed Frankland’s Vital Pusle Reg’d. Frankland’s produced the Vital Pulse Registered watches in various guises including men’s watches, ladies’ watches and nurses’ watches and the company also advertised in The Nursing Mirror & Midwives Journal so the watch was aimed at the medical fraternity.

The dial is in its original finish with original dauphine shaped hand, red centre seconds hand and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
