Description

1920s Swiss pocket watch.

The watch has a good quality nicely jewelled Swiss stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a small “ding”.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company, a prolific supplier of cases to various watch makers. The case is in good condition, just a pin prick mark to the back but nothing serious at all, overall nice condition for a 1920s piece.

The glass lens is in good condition.

The white enamel dial has a couple of very faint hairline cracks between 9 and 10 but otherwise it is in nice condition with original blued steel Breguet style hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
