19th C. Gunsmiths Bank Of Drawers

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: The Old Yard

A 19th C. Bank of Drawers, originally used as a Gunsmiths Work Table.  It has a Pine carcass and a Mahogany top that folds back on big brass hinges.  It has 12 deep drawers with lovely Brass fittings and each is divided up into compartments in which tools and parts would have been stored.  On heavy industrial castors and with side handles.

This has a great 19th C. industrial look to it and will look good in both a country or industrial style setting, especially in a kitchen, providing plenty of storage for herbs and spices, cutlery, utensils, towels etc.

It has obvious signs of wear in places as would be expected but it is a very well made and solid piece of furniture.
