The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 800 silver and there are Swiss hallmarks inside the case back. Originally there would have been a rose gold wash around the bezel and the edge of the case back there are only traces left now. The bezel and case back are in good condition, with the back having engine turned detail with a central vacant car-touche. The centre section of the case has some unevenness.

The acrylic lens is in good condition (some reflection showing in the photos).
The dial has a little marking, and a hairline crack running horizontally. Blued steel hands.
The watch comes with a later single silver chain, 32cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
