Very decorative early 19th century French cherrywood and marble top buffet server cupboard, circa 1820.
The original charcoal grey and white vein marble top has a chamfered edge and works well with the cherrywood, also in good condition.
The buffet has two drawers with the two cupboard doors below, internally there is a full width and depth shelf, but the shelf is in two halves so you can have a half depth shelf if preferred.
Great simplicity with this Directoire style, straight lines and panelled sides, doors and drawers, standing on short tapered legs with brass caps.
Good condition throughout, all locks are working.
Measuring:
40 1/2 inches or 103 cm high
46 3/4 inches or 119 cm wide
17 3/4 inches or 45 cm deep
15 inches or 38 cm internal depth
14 inches or 35.5 cm bottom shelf height
11 1/2 inches or 29 cm top shelf height
