The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement, Universal calibre 262, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner cover.
The watch is a good wearable size at 35mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs.
The serial number on the back of the watch dates it back to 1941.

The later lens is in good condition (some reflection showing in the photos).
The dial has some marking and age related darkening but it looks just as we would hope, nice and authentic, with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
