Silver Record pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a signed Record 7-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are Birmingham hallmarks for 1937 with the case maker’s mark for the Dennison Watch Case Company, a prolific manufacturer and supplier to various watch makers. The case has light marking and a little unevenness to the back but overall it is in nice condition for a 1930s piece.

The glass lens is in nice condition.

The dial is in good condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

The watch comes with a single silver chain. Hallmarked on the T-bar for 1896. The clasp is hallmarked for 1911. Each of the links has the lion silver mark but they are quite rubbed.

Also included is a silver fob with rose gold wash detailing to the front. The reverse of the fob is engraved NWSCF 1916.

The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
