Stunning Carved Painted French Commode

Description

This stunning carved painted french commode is offered in very good condition.

The commode has oversized proportions, stunning original brass handles and and has lovely detailed carving.

The wood is solid walnut that has been painted in a farrow and ball Wimborne white, slightly shabbied and given a clear wax finish.

All the drawers run smoothly and have been sanded and polished inside.

It is quite hard to find commodes of this quality and size.
