Description

Antique Waltham Traveler half hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a seven jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The gilt movement is fully signed and the serial number, 26294398 which dates it back to 1927. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 10ct gold filled and is the Moon model made by the Dennison watch case company. The case has light surface marking from use. The front cover has a small central lens surrounded by blue enamel filled Roman numerals.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in nice condition.

The signed dial is in nice condition.

The watch has a blued steel hands including the special half hunter hour hand so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
