Description

Superb quality mahogany bank of drawers or Wellington chest by the celebrated cabinet makers Maple & Co. c.1900. Useful narrow dimensions, just 27" wide. Well figured solid mahogany top with a deep moulded edge. Over seven drawers (internal dimensions 22" x 15" x 3½") with raised and fielded drawer fronts each retaining the original brass handles. Raised on a plinth base with moulded edge. Stamped with a maker's mark to the top drawer. Repairs to the veneers on the base, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
