Description

An imposing large 19th century mahogany Scotch chest of drawers featuring two short over three long graduated drawers below a further secret cushion drawer opened with an internal spring latch.

The drawers are flanked by striking upwardly tapering octagonal and turned columns, and the piece is raised on attractive large bun feet.

Very good condition, structurally all in good order with just some beautiful aged colour and surface wear.

Scottish, late 19th century.
