As you would expect the chest has great colour and patina. The chest is original throughout handles, locks, backboards etc. This chest is very large and has enormous amounts of storage space but being the quality it is and through its construction it remains very elegant and fine. The solid Mahogany top is beautiful in colour and condition. There is an attractive crossbanded edge to the top leading to a nicely shaped moulding. The sides are rounded and the plinth base has again been beautifully crossbanded with figured veneers. As you can see the sides are beautifully finished in solid Mahogany with a fantastic grain. The solid Mahogany drawer fronts also have a wonderful grain and figuration. The dimensions are as follows approx height 56 inches width 51 inches depth 23 inches. This is one of the best chests i have ever had beautifully finished in first class retail condition and ready for your home.
