The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is chromium plated and the bezel and case back are screw fitting, a nice sign of quality. The inside of the case back is signed Elgin National Watch Company so the movement and case are not original to each other, but of the same period. There is some rubbing to the plated finish on the back of the watch.

The watch glass has small marks across it and a small chip underneath the edge.
The dial is in lovely condition. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes with a single chain, 28cm long including the clasps. Some rubbing to some of the finish on the chain but not too detrimental.
The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
