This Mid 19th C. Pine Kitchen Base is the perfect piece for a country style, free standing kitchen. It has a thick Sycamore top which has been treated with a food safe oil, and large drawers either side of a cupboard, providing plenty of storage.

This piece would have originally been used for food preparation in a large country house kitchen and it is easy to imagine being used again for this purpose or as a kitchen island. It is also the perfect piece for a retail display or used as a point of sale.

It does have obvious signs of wear, but this only adds to the character of the piece and it is in solid original condition. It could also be heightened by adding chunky bun feet.
