Description

Late 18th.c oak chest of drawers c.1780. Constructed in two pieces (typical of the form) with a shallow top drawer over a large drawer in the upper section and two drawers of the same height in the base. The bottom drawers in both sections are lockable. Three plank oak top with an applied moulded edge. Moulded drawer fronts with brass drop handles and pierced escutcheons. Moulded trim around the top and bottom of the base. Oak panelled sides and oak drawer linings. Note the early locks and hand cut nails. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
