Description

Very decorative French marble top commode in figured walnut with (later added) bronze effect drawer handles in the Louis Philippe style, circa 1860 and in good condition.

This is an impressive and substantial piece of furniture, whether you are to use it for bedroom storage with its four drawers (all lockable) or if it is to be a feature piece in a living room or hall.

Wonderful colour and grain pattern to the figured walnut and the charcoal grey flecked marble top with its shaped and moulded edge compliment each other very well.

Good condition, drawers all running smoothly and with working locks.

The marble top does come off the chest for ease of moving etc.
