Description

A superb antique Victorian Wellington chest of drawers in mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1850-1870’s.

It is of amazing quality and has a slightly more unusual design than most Wellington chests. It is larger than usual, with a run of central turned mahogany handles on the drawers. It has the usual locking mechanism seen on Wellington chests, with lovely carved corbels under the cross banded top.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There is just some minor wear remaining beneath the polish here and there, overall this has a gorgeous patina.
