Gents 9ct gold Smiths De Luxe wrist watch, 1962.

The watch has a 15-jewel hand-winding movement, stamped Made in England, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for London 1962, together with the mark for Smiths Clocks & Watches.

The back of the watch has a long service inscription from Morris Motors, and the inscription also marks the Golden Jubilee of the company. The case is in lovely condition, as is the lens (some reflection showing in the photos).

The signed dial is in nice condition.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
