Quiet Street Antiques of Bath has dated this piece to the 1860s.
Signed to the lower right corner. It has been suggested that J. Mundell is actually a pseudonym of John James Wilson RA. Some light cracking to the paint, but none missing. In my opinion it would benefit from a clean. But otherwise it is in good condition, and easily go straight to hanging on your wall.
