Pair of Georgian Prints After Angelica Kauffman

A fine pair of Georgian prints after works by Angelica Kauffman. The two prints are titled, one is ‘Cupid Disarmed’ the other ‘Cupid Binding Aglaia’ both are typically neoclassical in tone. The prints are beautifully coloured and in excellent condition. The pair have been framed in the late Victorian period by The Graves Gallery of Birmingham which was a hub for artistic endeavours in the city at this time. The frames are wonderful quality in the Georgian taste with all original gilding and painted glass. The pair are highly decorative with a great period look. The prints date to C.1790 and frames to C.1900.
