Here is simply the sunniest art deco period floral still life, depicting exuberant mixed flowers in a jardiniere. Dating from the 1920s and French in origin the painting has a timeless charm. Clearly the picture was already appreciated when it was created: it was exhibited in 1930 at the highly reputed Galerie Borghese right on the Champs Elysees in Paris!

The oil on canvas is signed at the lower right but frustratingly, I have not been able to identify the signature. Measuring 46 x 61 cm for the canvas, the overall framed size is 67 x 82 cm.
