Large Pair of English 19th Century Antique Portrait Paintings in Oil

A wonderful large pair of early 19th century antique portrait paintings, in oil on canvas and both are in excellent condition with no damage. They date to around and have links to Hoghton Towers, Lancashire, a historic 16th century estate. The lady is decorated with red roses, the symbol of Lancashire. On one of the frames is hand written written Mr.J. Hesaltine – Hoghton Towers. A lovely pair of impressive English antique oil paintings with links to one of the most haunted houses in England!
