Subject beautiful hunting genre scene of a young man Scottish Ghillie who is patrolling walking along the grassy Highland moors hunting grounds with his 4 Lurcher dogs. To the far left is a small running stream, above 1 of the Lurchers is looking left, towards the centre the 3 other Lurcher dogs are grouped together gazing lovingly towards the young Ghillie man, he is carrying a brown satchel bag on his back and wearing traditional tartan dress a jacket and red kilt. To the right is large river crossing with various stone boulders in the water. In the distance are views of the Highland mountains.

The gilt frame has various repairs, signs of overpainting, general wear, scuffs, chips, cracking, losses, also historic woodworm on the back as shown commensurate with usage & old age.

Customs Payment & Brexit

Cheshire Antiques Consultant LTD operates on a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis which means that the International buyer is responsible for any import duties, taxes & customs clearance charges and any other customs charges which may be necessary to release an order from international customs.

Following the UK leaving the EU on 1st January 2021 (BREXIT) there have been some changes to customs & duty charges for EU customers. Tax and import duty varies from country to country so we recommend you check with your local tax office to see if any fees will be payable.
