Lovely pastel of an attractive young lady, painted for a gentleman in the first part of the last century, the label on the back is quite coy it says plb by mary macleod for robin erskine slattery row auchencairn. Probably a sweetheart ?

Mary macleod is a very respected scottish artist with portraits in some very esteemed places including the university of cambridge this work is in fair condition with some slight foxing and marks around the edges. The picture is in good distressed style frame
