Antique Chinese Watercolour Painting Water Birds

Description

This is a superb early 19th century Chinese watercolour painting on pith of a group of water birds amongst beautiful floral sprays with other nesting birds in the background. The painting is very nicely composed in bold gouache which retains a good depth of colour. This is well presented in a yellow mounted, black and gilt frame that measures 49 cms by 34 cms overall.
