A fine Georgian mezzotint engraving titled The Citizens Retreat. The print is engraved by William Ward from an original painting by James Ward RA it was published in 1796. The whole is in excellent condition with good bright colours. The print retains the original gilt frame which has had repair over the years and overpaint.
