Montagu Barstow was an artist and book illustrator and husband to Baroness Orczy, creator of The Scarlet Pimpernel. Montagu was the illustrator to many of her novels and also co-wrote the stage play ''The Scarlet Pimpernel'', which opened in London''s West End in 1903 and ran for over 4 years.
