Description

Chris Meadows (1863-1947) was born in Hungarton, Leicestershire and later attended the Aberdeen School of Art. Much of his landscape painting was done in Saltcoats and Largs in Scotland. However he worked in both oils and watercolours on a full range of subjects; portraiture, animals, still-life, landscape and seascape, and he exhibited throughout the U.K.

"The Pasture, Twilight" is a lovely atmospheric watercolour measuring 8"x 12". It is mounted and framed giving an overall size of 17"x 20".
