Superbly Patinated Welsh Oak Low Dresser Or Server

A Georgian oak low dresser of superb colour and excellent patina, testament to generations of generous waxing and careful use. The twin piece top with an under moulding above three pine-lined, cockbeaded drawers applied with most of the original brassware and a single piece frieze with shallow double arches edged with a defining cockbead. The ring and baluster turned legs are joined by a moulded-edge potboard applied with a quirky circular-section plate stay. The sides have recessed panels. Probably mid Wales, circa 1790-1820.
