Brave Fine Art has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The work is signed, maybe V Berg, in the lower right but we’ve been unable to track down the artist. It’s clearly by a good hand given its rapid nature and level of expression.

Grünewald taught at the Academy in Stockholm and later opened his own school. Underpinning his approach was his own studies with Henri Matisse in Paris.
