Wonderful Set of Four Antique Painting on Mahogany Boards

A super set of four, large scale English paintings on mahogany boards from a Memorial Chapel in Lancashire. Presented by Mrs. Borradaile to the chapel and on display within the chapel on the 1st of June in 1929. They were painted by her daughters Viola and Rosamund Borradaile. All four are in amazing condition, very well painted upon solid mahogany panels. On the back of the Saint Andrew painting there is a pencil inscription. Viola and Rosamund went on to translate the Styarsburg Manuscript, a mediaeval painters handbook from Old German.
