ANTIQUE #SA940357

Fine Circular Print With Carved Giltwood Frame

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: Prometheus Antiques

A fine quality print after the painting by William Henry Margetson titled ‘The sea hath its pearls’. The print is in excellent condition and represents the most famous painting by this artist which he exhibited in 1897. The frame is stunning and lifts this piece high above just being a print. The frame is the original and in great condition made from carved wood, it will have been made in Florence and really is a superb example. The whole has a great decorative impact and is ready to hang. C.1900.

Overall sizes in inches, including frame: 27 by 27
