Here we have a wonderful naive oil on board portrait of a Bedlington Terrier c1909. Reading the rear it may be that the dog was nicknamed Mrs Jones or it was Mrs Jones's dog we are not sure. One thing we are sure about is just how exquisite the portrait is. Although naive the Bedlington as a breed has been captured perfectly by the artist. The colours are in wonderful condition and the painting is housed in the original Oak frame. A real gem from my own personal collection ready for new collection. The dimensions are including frame 35 cm by 26 cm. Painting approx 19 cm by 26.
