Elegant Art Nouveau Period Floral Still Life Circa 1890, Mixed Flowers in a Vase Oil on Canvas

Description

An elegant and striking floral still life dating from circa 1890-1900, the art nouveau period. French in origin, the painting is dedicated "A mon ami O..." and signed indistinctly "Vig....." but the writing is very hard to decipher, and I have hence not been able to identify the artist. The painting has been restored and presents some stable old craquelure.

Measuring 33 x 41 cm, the overall framed size is 54 x 45 cm. Frame with wear and and repair to corners.
