A charming late Victorian oil on artist board still life of specimen roses. The painting is beautifully observed and the technique highly competent though it is however unsigned. The work has been framed in a gilt frame with large gilt slip focusing the eye on the painting. The frame is most likely the original and in good untouched condition.
