Fine Victorian Welsh Landscape Oil Painting

A fine Victorian oil on canvas landscape scene in superb original frame. The oil is beautifully painted and shows the dramatic landscape of North Wales and the Vale of Corwen. The work is titled on the reverse and signed, sadly the signature is illegible. The painting has been professionally cleaned and a small hole repaired, there is some craquelure to the paint. The work is framed in the original superb quality gilt frame which is in amazing untouched condition. The whole has a great period look and screams country house interior. C.1860.
