Description

This 20th-century oil painting by German artist Peter Eichhorn (1877-1960) depicts a tranquil landscape with meadow. There’s abundant beauty in its simplicity. A worn track winds its way between dense grasses towards a subtle vanishing point. The gentle tints of a distant hill provide a landmark.

The painting is signed in the lower left and framed. The reverse bears a stamp of the long-established Paul Adelhoch monastery gallery in Germany.
