A fine oil painting on card depicting the Goddess Flora by Luigi Del Buono after the original first century Roman wall painting discovered at Pompeii. The work is beautifully done by the artist who appears to have specialised in copying Roman artworks for the grand tour market. The painting is in good untouched condition with some very slight areas of wear but no damage. The title and signature are to the bottom of the oval. The gilt frame is English and in good untouched condition, it is most likely the original. The whole has a great period look and is ready to hang.
