Distinctly signed by a known Listed British artist influenced by the Dutch masters.
He was born 1854 and died in 1901.
Harry Williams was born in Hackney, London in 1854. There is little information available about his early life, but he exhibited two paintings at London exhibitions in 1874 from a Penzance address. In 1891, at the age of 37, he appeared in the Census as living with his aunt Elizabeth Rendle at 58 Morrab Road, Penzance and in 1901 living with his wife at 38 Morrab Road.
He died in Penzance in 1901 at the age of 47.
