A pair of watercolours , Dutch costal scenes under dramatic skies by Hermanus Koekkoek the younger, 1836-1908. Signed lower right L Van Staaten, a pseudonym used by Koekkoek. Housed in line wash mounts under glass, later gilt frames. Both paintings are unfaded and in excellent condition.
