An extensive 19th century watercolour by J S Gresley 1829-1908, Derbyshire and Yorkshire artist, signed and dated bottom left. River landscape with abbey ruins, cattle with a fisherman on the riverbank. Housed in its original gilt and plasterwork frame. Typical fine, loose bush strokes, unfaded colours. A very nice quality artwork presented in a frame of equal quality. Measurements of artwork alone 50 x 78 cms
