An exceptional wrought iron garden bench, English, probably Yorkshire, circa 1810, of unusual restrained design, and in completely untouched condition, with historical blackened paint finish.
 
Provenance: Stapleton Park, North Yorkshire; by repute
 
This beautiful garden bench is a rarity for its pre-Regency date, restrained design, sculptural quality, good untouched and unrestored condition.
