Description

Circa 1820. A rare and desirable mahogany barometer by, Adie & Sons of Edinburgh. Stylish horned top, case in flamed mahogany with ebony inlaid foredges, thermometer at the top contained in a glazed mahogany frame, them there is the barometer which is engraved, Adie & Son Edinburgh. In the bottom there is a circular bone handle for adjusting the moving arm. The barometer has been calibrated recently and works perfectly.
