An impressive late 19th century gilt-framed oil painting on canvas by Miss Etty Horton (fl. 1892-1903), depicting a busy Farmyard with a small pond, thatched buildings, horses being harnessed up; chickens; ducks; pigeons and with four farm-workers. There are far-reaching views of trees and fields mid-ground with, possibly London, in the far distance. A well painted picture.

Miss Etty Horton (fl. 1892-1903) lived in London but painted mostly countryside views with equestrian subjects. She exhibited twice at the Royal Academy (1893 and 1903); Royal Society and also in Birmingham.
