William Norman Gaunt, British born 1918-2001. Exhibited at the Royal Institute of Painters. Made a fellow of the International Institute of Arts and Letters 1959. Although he experimented in his early career he was widely acclaimed for his impressionistic style, clearly illustrated in the large work on canvas. Figurative, landscape and equestrian painter with works sold through major English auction houses including Christies and Bonhams. Measurements including frame 92 x 126 x 5. Excellent condition. 1970.
