This beautiful Danish school landscape painting depicts a wintery view with river and distant woodland. The gentle tints of a hidden sun enliven the crisp scenery. As a quiet light falls majestically through the branches of tall birch trees. You can almost feel the snow give way under boots. The silence only broken by a footstep and a crunch.

The painting is monogrammed and dated (18)95. It’s housed within a gilt frame.

Please note that this painting will need to be crated if shipped overseas. A cost for the crate will be added on during checkout.

Overall size: 44½” x 33” /110 cm x 84cm
